Brian Hairston Named Table Games Assistand Director at Potawatomi Bingo Casino

MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Bingo Casino recently named Brian Hairston Assistant Director of Table Games.

Hairston, of Franklin, joined Potawatomi Bingo Casino in 2010 as a Table Games Shift Manager. In his new position, he will assist in the oversight of operations and staffing of the Table Games department, the Casino’s 24-hour Poker Room and the Off-Track Betting venue.

Nearly $1 Million Donated to 30 Local Children's Charities Through Miracle on Canal Street

MILWAUKEE – Thirty children’s charities from southeastern Wisconsin are splitting $989,239 tonight, after Potawatomi Bingo Casino announced the amount of money raised during their 2011 Miracle on Canal Street program. Each charity received $32,841. Additionally, the program surpassed $11 million raised since its inception in 1994.

The 2011 Miracle charities will celebrate the joyous moment of unveiling the grand total with more than 1,000 Bingo guests and casino team members Friday, Dec. 9, during the Miracle Bingo Bash.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino Recognized With Two Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards

MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Bingo Casino swept the commercial categories at the 2011 Chicago/Midwest Emmy Awards, held Sunday, Nov. 6, in Chicago.

The in-house creative department, housed within the Potawatomi Bingo Casino's Marketing Department, won the Emmys for Outstanding Achievement in Commercials – Single Spot, for the Casino's Winball promotion; and Outstanding Achievement in Commercials – Campaign, for the Casino's 2010 branding efforts.

Seventh-Annual Hunting Moon (Gi Wse Gises) Pow Wow A Success

MILWAUKEE – The seventh-annual Hunting Moon (Gi Wse Gises) Pow Wow, sponsored by the Forest County Potawatomi Community, was held at Potawatomi Bingo Casino Oct. 21 – Oct. 23.

Almost 600 dancers and nearly 20 drum groups from throughout North America competed for prize money.  Winners shared in more than $90,000 in prize money and include:

Potawatomi Bingo Casino Has A Case Of The Blues

MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Bingo Casino is showing its support of Milwaukee’s Central Division champs by lighting its massive welcome wall in the team’s signature blue and gold.

A visual showpiece of the Casino, the welcome wall stands an impressive 70 feet tall and 130 feet wide, featuring more than 600 colorful LED lights rotating in a spectacular light show. The vibrant wall is located on the south end of the Casino, facing the parking structure.

Lit with bursts of blue and gold since Friday, Sept. 30, the wall has drawn a lot of excitement from baseball fans as they enter the Casino from the skywalk.
