Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em

howto_ultimatetexasholdem.jpgUltimate Texas Hold 'Em™ is similar to the regular poker game, however, players compete against the dealer, not the other players.

You start by making an “Ante” and “Blind” wager of equal value and you may also make an optional “Trips” bet.

Five community cards are laid face down. You and the dealer each receive two cards. You can then make a “Play” wager of three or four times your ante or check.

The dealer reveals the Flop and if you haven’t made a “Play” wager, you can now make a play wager of two times your ante wager or check. The dealer reveals the “Turn” and the “River.” If you have not made a wager at this point, you must make a play wager equal to your ante wager or fold.

Now, the dealer reveals the community cards. The dealer qualifies with a pair or better, however, if the dealer does not qualify, all ante wagers are returned to players and all remaining wagers are in action.

The dealer then compares their hand to each player’s hand and the best poker hand wins, paying both the Ante and the Play wagers. If you beat the dealer and your hand is a straight or higher, your blind wager wins. If you have an equal hand to the dealer, it pushes the ante, play and blind wagers.
