POTAWATOMI BINGO CASINO EXPANSION RECOGNIZED WITH FIRST-PLACE HONOR

MILWAUKEE (April 10, 2009) – Potawatomi Bingo Casino’s 2008 expansion, a $240 million project that tripled the size of the Casino, took first place in the category of Best New Development/Renovation – Hospitality at The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee’s Real Estate Awards held Thursday, April 9.
Potawatomi Bingo Casino was one of 18 area development projects chosen to receive awards by the Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee. The publication created the awards program four years ago to recognize projects that have a major impact in the Milwaukee community.
“Our expansion has already created so much excitement in the community and region,” Mike Goodrich, General Manager at Potawatomi Bingo Casino said. “We’re thrilled to receive this honor and extend our congratulations to the award winners.”
The Casino’s two-year expansion doubled the number of slot machines on the floor; doubled, and in some cases tripled, the number of table games; and allowed for the addition of an Off-Track Betting room and larger Poker Room. New dining options include RuYi, an Asian concept restaurant, and the Menomonee Valley Food Court. A new, 1,700 stall parking structure has provided easier access and has alleviated congestion for our guests.
