GERMAN MUSIC, FOOD, BEER HIGHLIGHTED AT POTAWATOMI BINGO CASINO’S FIRST EVER OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION
MILWAUKEE (Sept. 11, 2009) – Potawatomi Bingo Casino will transport guests to Bavaria as it hosts its first ever Oktoberfest celebration in the Casino’s Woodland Dreams Ballroom.
Guests over 18 can enjoy all of the fun and excitement of Oktoberfest from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, and 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.
When visitors enter the ballroom they’ll instantly be transported into the heart of Germany. The perimeters of the room will mirror a German village lined with cottages, while long tables reminiscent of the famed Hofbräuhaus will run the span of the room.
Guests can indulge in authentic German food and beer as the sounds of German oompah bands will be heard throughout the Casino. T-shirts, steins and hats will be available for visitors to commemorate their visit.
Festivities will kick off with the traditional tapping of the first barrel on Oct. 3 featuring the Spaten Girls. For additional information about Oktoberfest visit www.paysbig.com/promotions/oktoberfest.htm.
