Throughout its history, the Forest County Potawatomi Community has been guided by tribal values and thoughtful preparation for the future. Tribal traditions dictate that they nurture younger generations so they grow to lead healthy, productive lives. These concerns for future generations are the very roots of Miracle on Canal Street, the signature community program at Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

Miracle on Canal Street brings together team members, guests, business partners and the community for one common goal—to help improve the lives of children in southeastern Wisconsin.

Since it began in 1994, Miracle on Canal Street has contributed more than $7 million to nearly 300 local children’s charities. Each year funds are generated through Miracle bingo games and other special events. The total accumulated for the year is revealed during the December Miracle Bingo Bash and awarded to the selected charities.

This year, Potawatomi Bingo Casino will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Miracle on Canal Street and to commemorate this milestone we have added a new feature—the Mega Miracle. One charity from all applicants will be chosen to receive approximately 20% of the funds generated; the remaining 80% will be split amongst the other 16 charities, one of which will be an Alumni Charity.
