The Fire Pit Sports Bar and Grill
The Fire Pit Sports Bar and Grill ties together Native American themes with sports
of today and yesterday. While it maintains a current feel as a Las Vegas sports
"book," it is decorated with the natural warmth of wood beams, birch
bark timbers, stone and stretched skins to give it the feel of the inside of a
Native American wigwam. The bar was designed to look like an upside down canoe.
To further emphasize the sports theme, the Fire Pit features Indian artifacts
strategically hung along its thirty-foot walls. Look for giant-size examples of
items used for sports and recreation by the Forest County Potawatomi. An oversized
bow, dream catcher, snow shoe, tomahawk, large musical rattle, drum, gaming wicket
(used in a game similar to La Crosse) and fishing spear are all featured throughout
the restaurant and bar.
