Bingo Admissions

We don't want you to miss out on the fabulous story that unfolds on the walls and ceilings of the casino. Notice the large pottery like sculptures on the ceiling of the bingo admissions area. Some say they resemble the shell of a turtle, but in fact, they are made of a mixture of clay and sand to reflect the clay the native Potawatomi used to make vessels. Each sculpture was formed into a large earthen pottery fragment and the imagery represented is filled with glass and framed by cedar branches. The sculptures are beautifully lit to create a halo effect and to accentuate the importance of the imagery. There are a number of images on the sculptures, each representing a different clan in the tribe. You will see wolf, beaver, eagle, fish, bullhead, otter, turtle, bear, buffalo, loon, rabbit, deer, thunderbird, weasel, crane and bird. The pottery symbolism and clan imagery pays homage to the first native people of the area.
