The Buffet Murals

The design of the The Buffet follows the natural woodlands theme found throughout Potawatomi Bingo Casino. Natural colors and wood accents give the feeling of being up North. But what truly ties it all together are the paintings that surround visitors in the restaurant.

To create the feeling that guests were truly "up North," members of the MJM Studios team (the company that produced many of the design elements in the casino) visited the numerous lakes that adorn the Potawatomi reservation. They carefully photographed the landscape and from those photographs enlisted the help of painter to create that same feeling on canvas. Each of the paintings in the buffet represents the atmosphere of the area. As you look around, you find that each mural shares the same horizon decorated by waterfowl and other natural elements. Together they give the feeling that you are sitting on the actual reservation.
