POTAWATOMI HOTEL & CASINO ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH MAKE-A-WISH® WISCONSIN
$100,000 DONATION PART OF 25TH HEART OF CANAL STREET CAMPAIGN
MILWAUKEE (September 18, 2018) – Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, through the Heart of Canal Street program, announced today a $100,000 donation to Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin as part Heart of Canal Street’s 25th anniversary. The funding will go towards granting 25 wishes for children with critical illnesses.
The donation was announced today during a party for 13-year old Iyanna, who is the first to have her wish granted as part of this new Heart of Canal Street partnership. Iyanna and her family are going to Disney World.
“Giving back is at the core of who we are as a business and is an important part of our values,” said Rodney Ferguson, Potawatomi Hotel and Casino Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. “During the 25 years of our Heart of Canal Street campaign we have developed a valued partnership with Make-A-Wish because of the wonderful service they provide children in our community.”
Working together over the past quarter century, Potawatomi and Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin have helped grant nearly 100 wishes.
