Potawatomi Hotel & Casino to honor veterans and active-duty military in observance of Veteran's Day

In honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will recognize guests who have or continue to serve their country.

Veterans or active-duty military age 21 and over are invited to stop by the casino’s Promotions booth from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 11 for a $15 coupon to use at any food & beverage outlet on property. Military ID must be shown to receive the giveaway.

“Potawatomi Hotel & Casino and the Forest County Potawatomi Community have tremendous respect for those who have and continue to sacrifice for the United States,” said Mike Goodrich, property general manager and Forest County Potawatomi tribal member. “This is a small token of appreciation and pales in comparison to the service former and current military personnel provide to protect our freedoms.”

In addition, the casino’s exterior light wall and its lantern atop the hotel will display patriotic red, white and blue colors from Nov. 10-12.

Potawatomi Bingo Casino will also honor its employees who are veterans or active-duty military. Nearly 150 Potawatomi employees have served in the military, or are currently serving.
