Renee Kirnberger Named Public Affairs Manager at Potawatomi Bingo Casino

MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Bingo Casino recently named Renee Kirnberger Public Affairs Manager.

Kirnberger, of Wauwatosa, is returning to Wisconsin after spending nearly three years as director of communications at the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America’s national office in Phoenix. Prior to that, she served as director of development & communications at the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Wisconsin.

In her new position, Kirnberger will oversee the development and implementation of public affairs outreach programs on a local and state basis. She will manage Potawatomi Bingo Casino’s signature charitable program, Miracle on Canal Street, as well as the casino’s social responsibility programs which include its problem gambling education and awareness efforts. She will also sit on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling.

Kirnberger has more than 16 years of experience in public relations.  She graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication/public relations. She has been a member of the Public Relations Society of America as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
