The Acoustix

Dave and Doug, who collectively grew tired of performing with larger bands, formed The Acoustix in 2000. Their new musical incarnation was more casual and intimate, which led to more freedom to interact with their audiences. The duo’s pop/rock style covers classics from Neil Diamond, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Styx, Simon & Garfunkel and more on acoustic guitar and congas. With a relaxed sound reminiscent of the summer festival scene they often play, you’re sure to be transported to a warmer place.
