David A. Arnold has been comedy’s best-kept secret, until now. Arnold’s fresh, edgy humor on life, love and family will have you laughing and thinking all at the same time.
Arnold has been very successful in the stand-up arena with numerous performances on everything from The Ruckus on Comedy Central to Def Comedy Jam on HBO. He’s toured with Shaq’s All Star Comedy Tour and is now on his own tour, He Said She Said Comedy Tour with funny lady Kym Whitley. David is prepping for his new stand-up special to follow his last, self-produced DVD in 2010 entitled I’ve Never Heard of You Either!
He has also performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival (twice), on Comedy Central’s Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx and Cedric the Entertainer, The Tom Joyner Show, Baisden After Dark, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, BET’s Comic View, The Monique Late Night Talk show, HBO’s Entourage and Def Comedy Jam.
First known for his writing talent, Arnold is now stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight with the development of his own TV Show by comedy-powerhouse, Kevin Hart. Arnold has written on TV shows like, Zoe Ever After and Real Husbands Of Hollywood on BET, as well as Kelsey Grammer/Martin Lawrence’s sitcom, Partners on FX. Arnold has also written on TV shows like The Rickey Smiley Show for TV One, OWNS’ Raising Whitley, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and Meet the Browns.
Based out of Los Angeles, Arnold can be seen working out his stand-up at clubs like, the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Union, the Comedy Store, the Improv and Ha Ha Cafe. David A. Arnold is well on his way to being one of the industry’s best!
