Junior Brantley, singer and keyboard artist, started his illustrious career in Milwaukee in the early 1960's, performing with Sonny Boy Williamson and others at local venues. In the mid-1960's, his group, Junior and The Classics, had a break out hit on a national record label. By 1970, he was performing with the legendary Milwaukee blues group,"Short Stuff". When Short Stuff broke up 15 years later, Junior spent 3 years performing with Leroy Airmaster, another well known Milwaukee based blues group. In the late 1980's, Junior accepted a job touring with Jimmy Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. This led to several years of touring with Roomful Of Blues. In 1992, Junior moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has been located ever since, playing with his own groups, and other ensembles, including the Del Vikings and the Shuffle Aires.
