Spring is shaping up to be the season of flavor, all thanks to Senior Executive Sous Chef Pete!

Potawatomi recently sat down with Chef Pete to get some insight on the upcoming Cream City Coffee Co. spring menu that’s sure to put a pep in your step as the season changes.

You can begin to enjoy these new spring offerings starting April 9th.

Thanks for sitting down with us today, Chef Pete. We gotta say, the new spring menu is looking great! What’s your favorite new item?

Hey, thanks for having me. Every item on Cream City Coffee Co.’s spring menu is fantastic! But if I had to pick just one, my favorite is the Strawberry Rhubarb Tart. There are so many flavor profiles in this dish. The sweetness of the strawberry balances perfectly with the tartness of the rhubarb. The brioche adds a savory element.

What was the inspiration for the spring menu at Cream City Coffee Co.?

I’m so excited for this menu. The inspiration comes from the fresh and vibrant flavors as spring comes alive. We picked seasonal flavors everyone will love—berries, apricots, lavender and foraged mushrooms.

There are a lot of new beverage items on the menu as well. What do you recommend?

We have a selection of teas and lemonades. I recommend the Mango Green Tea—it reminds me of being at my family cabin up north, relaxing on the pontoon boat and fishing with my kids. We also offer a Spiked Lemonade option where you can choose a flavored syrup to add.

Do you have any closing remarks about the spring menu?

In addition to Cream City Coffee Co.’s menu, we are excited for our guests to experience some other new restaurant menus that are rolling out—Canal Street Café, Street Eatz, Dream Dance Steakhouse and the highly-anticipated arrival of the new Potawatomi Sportsbook!
