Glow-in-the-Dark Bingo at Potawatomi

Have you ever been to a glow bingo party? If you haven’t, then we can 100% guarantee that you’re missing out. We love glow-in-the-dark bingo so much that we throw our own Glow Party on a monthly basis at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. On the last Saturday of every month, the lights go down at 9:30 p.m. and the fun begins.

Our Glow Parties are extremely popular so we have a few tips to share to ensure you have a blast.

Arrive early! Did we mention these shindigs are popular? While we typically have enough seating for everyone, if you want your choice of seat then the best way to ensure you get it is to arrive early.

Know your buy-ins:

  • $20 for one sheet of 9 bingo cards
  • $5 for extra sheets of 3 bingo cards
  • $40 for 18 games on one of our electronic machines

Buy your bingo cards or load up an electronic machine. If you’re new to the game, don’t overwhelm yourself. Buy as many paper sheets (9 bingo cards to a sheet) as you can manage or ask one of our bingo clerks about an electronic machines. Electronic machines can be great if you’re worried about finding letter/number combos quickly. An electronic machine will do most of the work for you, allowing you to keep up with multiple “bingo cards” easily.

Get your free gift. Is a party really a party if you don’t walk away with a bit of swag? At every Glow Party, you’ll be able to claim a free gift, chosen to uniquely fit the month’s theme.

Visit our Pulltabs station. It has a bright neon sign that you can’t miss and this is where you’ll find pulltabs (think scratch-off tickets that you pull instead of scratch), but you’ll also find all of the bingo merch and supplies your little heart could desire. If you bought paper bingo cards, then you’ll likely want to buy a dauber, a large marker used to mark your paper. We always have fun new colors and most importantly glow-in-the-dark daubers.

Find your seat. We have a seat for everyone. Our Bingo Hall has both a smoking and non-smoking section depending on your preference. We have tables and booths. We have seats close to the bingo caller, further from the caller, close to mounted TVs, further from mounted TVs, etc., etc. You get the picture. If you’ve arrived early, then you’ll have your pick of seats.

Get refreshments. While you’ll find small breaks in between bingo games, if you don’t want to worry about missing out on the action, then get your refreshments before the game, so you can relax and enjoy your play.

Enjoy the entertainment. Music is always present, whether it be music videos on the big screens, a DJ playing the hits and oldies, or karaoke on the main stage.

Play the game. This is of course why you’re here. At every Glow Party, we have a customized program that will tell you how each game can be won and what the potential winnings are. Depending on the game, you could win up to $5,000 just by shouting BINGO!

Play more games. Throughout the night, you'll find Bingo Clerks walking the floor to sell buy-ins to special games. Some of these bingo games have huge winnings potential. While this didn’t happen during our glow bingo, one man famously won $1,000,000 at our bingo hall after playing one of these “bonus games.”

Enjoy the after-party. Glow-in-the-dark bingo isn’t all that Potawatomi Hotel & Casino has to offer. After Glow Bingo, you’ll find that our two bars, Bar 360 and Curve are still open. The Fire Bit Sports Bar & Grill is still open if you’d like food, or you could head to Taco Del Fuego and Trapper’s Grille in our Menomonee Valley Food Court. Our Topgolf Swing Suite bays are also open until 1:00am, so you might be able to squeeze in a round of virtual golf. And, of course, there’s a whole casino floor full of slots and table games if you’re in the mood to play those.

Whether you win or lose, it’ll be a night to remember!
