And just like that—summer in Milwaukee is coming to a close. The festival season is ending; the days are getting a little cooler; and before you know it, we will be seeing white flakes falling from the sky. So, how are you going to celebrate this three-day weekend? 

 


Harley-Davidson® 110th Anniversary

Whether you are travelling across town or cross-country, all roads lead to Milwaukee! This legendary company is celebrating 110 years with a four days of bikes, music and parties. Potawatomi Bingo Casino will be at the Harley-Davidson Museum with giveaways and welcoming the bikers to Brew City.

For bikers looking for free parking in Milwaukee, Potawatomi Bingo Casino has an entire lot dedicated for motorcycles. Located just west of the Harley-Davidson Museum on Canal Street, be on the look out for signs indicating the motorcycle lot.

Friday, August 30

Miracle on Canal Street — 20th Anniversary  12 p.m. — Poker players get ready for three days of poker tournaments! Starting Friday at noon, the Miracle Friday Poker Tournament kicks off the holiday weekend. There is a special $10 Add-On worth $1,500 in chips that will help the Miracle on Canal Street program. The thrill of a tournament while also helping to improve the quality of life for children in southeastern Wisconsin.
 Milwaukee Happy Hour

2 – 6 p.m. — For those that can’t skip out of the office early, grab your co-workers and start off the weekend with a happy hour. Enjoy $2.50 domestic pints, $3 bottles, $4 imports or $4 rail drinks at Bar 360The Curve, Solstice Lounge or on the casino floor. If you’ve just had “one of those weeks,” get the party started with $5 margaritas or long islands.

Saturday, August 31

Sunday, September 1

 After all that excitement of the past two nights, the weekend is only half over. 

Labor Day Weekend Brunch in Milwaukee  9:30 a.m. — The Buffet at Potawatomi Bingo Casino has just what you need to keep your energy up. Stop by between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and enjoy their champagne Sunday brunch—it’s only $16 for Fire Keeper’s Club members ($18 for non-members). In addition to the standard multi-cultural food stations, there will be made-to-order omelets, hickory smoked ham, crisp bacon, sausage, smoked Norwegian salmon and peel and eat shrimp. Also, each guest will be served a complimentary glass of champagne to start the day off right.

Lunch & Dinner — Along with the daily bingo sessions, off-track betting races and nearly 3,000 slot machines, celebrate the end of summer with one last big cookout. The Buffet is serving everyone’s favorite dishes from their international stations from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Milwaukee Buffet Restaurant
