What to Do in Milwaukee—Labor Day Weekend 2013

And just like that—summer in Milwaukee is coming to a close. The festival season is ending; the days are getting a little cooler; and before you know it, we will be seeing white flakes falling from the sky. So, how are you going to celebrate this three-day weekend? 

Harley-Davidson^® 110^th Anniversary

Whether you are travelling across town or cross-country, all roads lead to Milwaukee! This legendary company is celebrating 110 years with a four days of bikes, music and parties. Potawatomi Bingo Casino will be at the Harley-Davidson Museum with giveaways and welcoming the bikers to Brew City.

For bikers looking for free parking in Milwaukee, Potawatomi Bingo Casino has an entire lot dedicated for motorcycles. Located just west of the Harley-Davidson Museum on Canal Street, be on the look out for signs indicating the motorcycle lot.

Friday, August 30
	12 p.m. — Poker players get ready for three days of poker tournaments! Starting Friday at noon, the Miracle Friday Poker Tournament kicks off the holiday weekend. There is a special $10 Add-On worth $1,500 in chips that will help the Miracle on Canal Street program. The thrill of a tournament while also helping to improve the quality of life for children in southeastern Wisconsin.
	2 – 6 p.m. — For those that can’t skip out of the office early, grab your co-workers and start off the weekend with a happy hour. Enjoy $2.50 domestic pints, $3 bottles, $4 imports or $4 rail drinks at Bar 360, The Curve, Solstice Lounge or on the casino floor. If you’ve just had “one of those weeks,” get the party started with $5 margaritas or long islands. Please drink responsibly.

	9 p.m. — Set in the heart of the Casino, Michael Rossa Duo will be covering your favorite songs at Bar 360. If you are looking for a fun karaoke experience, you need to be at The Fire Pit’s side bar for Pam’s Fun Factor Karaoke to see what the buzz is about!
	11 p.m. — Are you a true night owl? Then be sure you are in the bingo hall at 11pm. for the Weekend Night Owls session. The HotBall jackpot can pay out $1,100 if someone calls “bingo” in 20 numbers or less.

Saturday, August 31  Have as much fun in the sun as you would like during the day, because come Saturday night, Potawatomi Bingo Casino is the place to be in Milwaukee.
Dinner — Doors open at 4 p.m. at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana. Settle in, relax and feel the warmth and comfort of being surrounded by friends and family while dining at a casual Italian restaurant in Milwaukee. 7 & 9 p.m. — Grab some friends and come to The Northern Lights Theater to see Magician and Comdian Glen Gerard with Ben Hamiton. Inspired by the classic Tony Curtis movie "Houdini" the age of ten, Glen Gerard knew he would someday entertain audiences nationwide with his unique brand of humor and magic. Integrating comedy, slight of hand and outrageous audience participation, Glen is a truly funny comic-magician. 9 p.m. — Boasting a career of over 20 years, making fans of all who hear them, Mirage III at Bar 360 will take you on a sonic journey through R&B, make contemporary melodies of some of the greatest hits in history from the 1960s on. Pam’s Fun Factor Karaoke will be at The Fire Pit’s side bar for a second night. Start thinking of your favorite disco, rock, country, oldies or pop song with which you want to serenade the crowd.
11 p.m. — The most anticipated bingo session of the month, Glow Party Bingo is shaking things up. During the GLOW Party, lights are dimmed, music is pumped up, videos are playing and everyone is dancing. In fact, team members in the Bingo Hall get the party started by performing a choreographed dance! Must-go prizes of $500, $1,000, $2,000 and even $5,000 are won during this entertaining bingo session.

Sunday, September 1  After all that excitement of the past two nights, the weekend is only half over.
	9:30 a.m. — The Buffet at Potawatomi Bingo Casino has just what you need to keep your energy up. Stop by between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and enjoy their champagne Sunday brunch—it’s only $16 for Fire Keeper’s Club members ($18 for non-members). In addition to the standard multi-cultural food stations, there will be made-to-order omelets, hickory smoked ham, crisp bacon, sausage, smoked Norwegian salmon and peel and eat shrimp. Monday, September 2  It’s Labor Day—the final day of this weekend—and Potawatomi Bingo Casino still will be rolling out red carpet for you.
Lunch & Dinner — Along with the daily bingo sessions, off-track betting races and nearly 3,000 slot machines, celebrate the end of summer with one last big cookout. The Buffet is serving everyone’s favorite dishes from their international stations from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
2 – 6 p.m. — And finish off the weekend with drink specials. Happy hour returns Monday afternoon from 2 – 6 p.m. Enjoy $2.50 domestic pints, $3 bottles, $4 imports or $4 rail drinks or $5 margaritas or long islands.
